The first day in school was a weird. They don’t have the same school sytem at all in Amercia. Today we should have sports. We were divided into two teams. One was to play baseball and the second was to play football. It was hard to learn the new rules, so at first I had to look at that they played. Then I got on the Baseball and I should start. I had a little trouble by hitting the ball, but I learned it last. Half an hour later I had to go on the the football team. We should have all the heavy equipment at first and then we had to play. I could rules, because I've seen it in the TV at home in Denmark. After games we should have English for two hours, and then we had free. I was delighted just to come home and relax.

- "look at that they played." - What is wrong?
- .."on the Baseball." - Something is missing?!
- "..and I should start." - Be careful using "should" in general. Vary it and use "had to"/ "were going to" instead.
- When you find the words that you are going to use, try to find collocations (faste vendinger med ordet).
